Hello everyone! How is everyone doing? I actually had my Birthday earlier this week and I though it might be fun and useful to tell you how I celebrates, and how you could celebrate… considering these funny times.
The first, most important thing, is that you should find reasons to celebrate because this life can get quite repetitive and therefore it’s nice to have something to look forward to.
Secondly, celebrate with your love ones in any way that you can. Whether you are lucky enough to be with your family, or if you can phone or facetime your friends. Just make sure you surround yourself with positive people who make you feel special.
I personally love to bake and a birthday is a perfect occasion to get creative. So design a cake, big or small and decorate a cake for yourself. You can get really creative with the decoration and the flavours! I made a really fun, three tired vanilla funfetti cake which I actually thought turned out really well!
Do an outside activity! Recently, in the UK the weather has been getting a lot sunnier and warmer, so go for a bike ride, a walk, a run or just sit outside! But of course make sure that you are following the legal guidelines.
Finally, dress up. It is so easy to just stay in pyjamas or sweatpants but on your Birthday put on a nice outfit, do your hair and it will make you feel more special!!
Well, that it’s from me! Stay safe!
